Bladeforums, I just Upgraded My Membership from a Basic Member to a Gold Membership. Please Pro-Rate My membership for nyefmaker :)

Umm, sounds like you upgraded from a non-paying membership to a paying membership. Unless I'm missing something, there's nothing to pro-rate. Just go to your User CP, and in "Group Memberships" click on "Gold" and you should be good to go.
 
I had the Basic Membership since 9-29-08 for the $10.00 amount. I just upgraded to the Gold Membership so I could sell some of my collection. I have left many posts which I believe you can only do with a paying membership correct ?
 
Correct. That's a different issue. Spark will need to take care of that. [Spark: He was showing up here as "Registered User" before I walked him through this, so I don't know if there will be an issue with pro rating him or not. S.]
 
Our system isn't showing you ever had a basic membership under this username?
 
As I said, it was showing "registered user" when I first popped in here four hours ago. That's all I know.
 
09-29-08 was the date that you first joined this forum as a registered user. Are you saying that the first day you joined you purchased a Basic membership?

If that is the case, did you keep a record of the credit card transaction, or save the email from One Stop Knife Shop confirming your order?
 
I thought you could only post and add attachments ( pics ) with a $10 or more membership ??? You can see I have made many posts and added pics well before I became a gold member. I did not know how to change my listing to a gold member until "Sameal" told me (thanks). Before that, it just said registered member. I spend most of my time on here on the CRK and exchange forums. I am sure there is alot I dont know about the forum yet. I cant find at the moment my credit card statemets as I was in the process of selling my house and moving at that time. As for emails, I just went through a couple of weeks ago and deleated aprox 3000 emails, yes I am a pack rat, I even save emails. Its no big deal. I was just doing what the instructions told me to do when membership was upgraded. I have gotten way more than my $10 worth the last 6 months on this site and am very happy with it. Now I am a Gold Member and proud of it. Thanks.
