I used a knife in a dangerous situation!

Matt- We just ride around, mostly, My GF used to barrel race, but I'm just not that good. As an aside, I believe that you said that you rein-I was looking at my horses papers, and he was probably trained by a Mark Wilkerson from Harrodsburg, KY. I believe that he trains reiners, and is a NRHA member. Do you know of him? I am trying to figure out all of his peculiarities as a horse.

Thats cool. Showing can get to be more hassle than its worth. I like the type of riding that you get to do with reining, and I like trying to train my horses and make them better at what they do. Horseshows are a great way to gauge your progress, the judges don't beat around the bush ;) Trail riding is a lot of fun and can be relaxing, but there aren't too many places to go around here and I'm really into the training end of it. I like starting horses under saddle and seeing what I can do with them.
The name from your horses papers doesn't ring a bell. I don't make it to too many NRHA events though (mainly OQHA), and I doubt he would make it up to my neck of the woods anyway. I'll have to think about it though. I might also be able to come up with something if you tell me some of your horses breeding also.

You're lucky you didn't just "Conan" the horse. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just watch Conan the Barbarian and see what he does to the camel :) ! I grew up around horses, and even though they were geldings, you still had to play the dominance card with them. That was interesting getting caught in fights between them, almost as bad as breaking up fighting dogs!
