So i recently won a custom knife from a company thats known for making various Titanium products. Theyve made 2 knives previously with limited runs of around 150 pieces i think and were well received as far as i can tell. This was their 3rd knife thats not available for pre-order just yet but will be soon i believe. Id like to do a "review" of the knife for fun. im just getting into this world and im enjoying and would like to chime in a bit. not so much a performance review as ive only had it for a few days and i dont plan on putting it threw any serious tests. You could call it a review, an editorial, giving my opinion, call it what you like i guess. But Im new to the knife world and new to forums in general and i dont want to do anything thats not considered kosher if you know what i mean? dont want to offend anyone or come off like a punk or unappreciative i guess, so i wanted to check with guys in here about their thoughts on the matter. is it ok to review a knife that hasnt been released to the public? to review a knife youve won, got for free? i dont know, sometimes internet/forum faux paus elude me, i dont get em, so i dont want to step on anyones toes or be a jerk...

I am mostly interested in your new custom knife, what you think of it, how it carries, etc.
I would like to see the knife; to heck with all of the hoops one might have to jump through.

It would be fitting, however, to place your review into the proper sub-forum, which I have listed below...

It's always easier to ask for forgiveness...than for permission..., and..it gets the job done.

i completely agree about asking for forgiveness rather than permission, its actually a mantra i tend to live by. but at the same time im new in here and dont wanna step on anyones toes or just be thought of as a dick, which is the general perception of me in real life so im trying to figure out how to live the less-hated

I would love to see honest review of custom, midtech (I hate this term) or even more expensive knife. It seems to me that most of people buying these knives (and reviewing them) are fanboys or are just too afraid to "offend" anyone because the are almost
always positive even if they have major flaws (nonfunctional locks, handles that are one big hot-spot, etc...). Just for example try to find single one review of Begg Bodegga that addresses plunge-grind issue on this knife.
I think that we need more reviews from "dicks".

cool. ill try and get it done today. i took some pics just now and im actually photoshopping a couple right now to show what it would look like if some of the issues and things i didnt like about it were changed. i always thought it was better when youre pointing out problems to have some solutions too... I actually used to be a decent writer in undergrad, not so much anymore, but we'll see how it goes. theres just so many good reviews in this place, id hate to sully it up. oh well, gotta try

We don't demand good grammar and adherence to Robert's Rules of Order here. You are among friends, some of us who don't spele well.
We just happen to like knives...
