I wanna see pictures of the knifes you guys choose for camping or hiking, that you have proven in the field and use for everything from food prep to building a shelter. On your mark.... GO!

All proven...

Here are my go to knives. The Spyderco Bushcraft, and my Mora 840MG clipper. This picture was taken last year when I first got them.

Hey Clich....did ya get the whole knife for $30? I see the blade alone but the handles and sheath are all individual priced.....do tell....

The handles are individual priced, but the sheath is stock (I did order some new leather for it due mid october) but the handles do improve performance, just comfort. I've used a few bk11s rawdog and they all performed as well, just not as easy on the hand.

here's another proven woods knife, I just got it but I know its a great one

Either of these, I like the Mora though. Its light, perfect size for camp chores, great for hiking, its my goto knife.

I bought one of these for a 'go-to' camp knife. Behold, the mighty BK-2! (*still minty fresh out of the box)

It's a great bomb-proof design, but overkill, imo. After rethinking my setup, I'm pretty sure I could get by just fine with these:

Looking forward to trying out the Izula/SAK combo next season...
