We're talking mid-level price range ($100 or so). Wood handle, leather sheath and good steal that I can pass down to my son. I've looked at Marbles as most of their "sportsmans" knives are in the $80-90 ballpark.

Any suggestions? This isn't gonna be a safe queen... this is gonna see some action.

Forgot to mention... this will be used for actual rabbit dressing and fish cleaning chores. Its messy, but I want to be messy in style!! And I have a small tax refund coming, too!!

Hi,

How about a nice Puukko? Most are in that price range and are a timeless style.

I have the Inyoni but I don't much like the serrations. I would suggest the companion from Rosarms.

Bark River is a company you can trust 100%.

Not sure any knife is 100% trustworthy IME:confused: Recently had an issue with a BRKT Bird & Trout while boning out a fresh turkey. It did not inspire confidence in their claims of ''Don't worry, it may be a thin edge, but don't be afraid to work it hard''...

Queen Cutlery makes a Rabbit knife in Amber Bonestag but I don't have a link.Reasonable knife though and durable.

Bark River makes nice blades I imagine. or a full custom from Eddie White! (see shadowknives)

Eddie makes a great knife and would be happy knowing you plan on using it. Good luck!
