In stock as of the time of this post. A little more expensive than some, but still reasonable, and they have excellent service. I usually buy USPS shipping, but they called me up one time and told me I'd get faster by UPS to my location. That's pretty cool of them.

i tried to make a deal on the "knives wanted" forum, but the guy bailed out becuase he didnt want to wait for the funds to transfer.
i was actualy about to buy one off Ebay for $90.94 + shipping, so knife center isnt half bad. About the stock indicator...I hope it actulay IS in stock and that they didnt just forget to change it...I dont need that whole fiasco again.
O, yea...And I cant actualy buy it for another week. initiated a transfer itno my paypal account when i made a deal with the seller here on this board. The transfer wont clear for another couple of days. Since there is no way to cancel a Paypal fund transfer once it has started, i have to wait untill its finished and then start all over again transfering it back. Hopefully by this time next week I can actualy place my order with knife center; i just hope they still have them in stock.

Knifecenter is usually on top of that. If it shows as in stock today, you've got a 90% chance of it being IN STOCK. Unless someone buys it three seconds before you.

Actually, you might want to try calling them and asking them to hold one for you for a few days. I've never asked, but they may be willing to do that.

I shuffled some other funds around and managed to come up with enough to purchase the Dodo (with more shuffling to commence when that blastid PayPal transfer is finished).
UPS took charge of the package late yesterday.
