I want a knife as good as a sebenza

In my opinion, the finish on a Sebenza is better than on a similar Obenauf all metal framelock, at least it was in my case. The thing with the Sebenza is that the attention to details is custom level. My only 2 folders that compare favorable are a JW Smith, and a Mayo TNT. If you're looking for something cheap, I've heard good things of the Buck TNT.

I tried a Strider SnG at Blade 2 years ago, and the F&F was appalling. Unless they've very much improved the quality, I wouldn't touch them with a 10" pole. The one I played with would only lock solidly when flicked. When the thumb stud was used, the lock wouldn't engaged. That's just dangerous.

whoever in here said RICK HINDERER, i co-sign enthusiastically. a hinderer firetac or firetac extreme will be my next major gift to myself.. here's his home site:

he seems like one hell (heaven) of a knifemaker. seems like you can get all the materials & build quality of a sebenza with added aesthetics, grip texture, & stability innovation. *drools*
