I want a knife when I go hunting, can I pick up the Benchmade Adamas Folding Knife?

I think you have to be a paying member to pm, but if you click on my name there's an email link if you'd like.

Thanks for cheering up. I want an excellent knife for hunting since this is my first knife, so I decide to get a fixed blade knife. And I will also get the Amadas.

Ya if you got the $ for multiple knives mores always better.:o Having a fixed blade for game processing is probably the way to go all in all. You can't go wrong with any of the Benchmade line up or bone colletor series. Sorry CJZ for being kind of a dick but it hurts me when people put down the Adamas. I love it. I'd also take a look at Fallkniven's. Very stainless, good edge retension and durable from what i hear. Am going to get one very soon. I think it would be one of the best overall "hunting knives" there is. But anyways let us know what you choose and welcome to Bladeforums.:)

Check out mora for a good first fixed blades. They are cheap(so no heartbreak if it gets lost or broke), easy to maintain, some may look gimmicky but once you use them you will grow an appriciation for them:) Good luck!:)

I've send em e-mail to you.

I'm having trouble with my email app, so I'll just answer you here.
Yes, its pretty clear thats your website you linked to. If you're looking for a critique of the reviews I'm sure other people here can be more helpful than me.

Honesty is highly valued here. Rather than playing games your best bet is to introduce yourself, say you've written some reviews, and ask what people think. We don't like being mislead.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will consider the 1095 fixed blades as well. ;)

It's definitely worth a look IMHO. I do things to my RAT that if I did to a nice folder that I would feel guilty about! (especially the cosmetic markings that it would make or the blade play it would cause on a folder.) 1095c is a great beater steel...tough as can be, easy to sharpen after heavy and even abusive usage, and very economically priced. I think it outperforms many newer steels that are much more expensive in environments in which the usage is going to be down right harsh, and toughness is a desirable performance trait more so than edge retention. There are also a lot of 52100 fixed blades that are similar priced economically and that is also an exceptional steel (pretty similar to the 109x steels.)

Hi Jennifer, welcome to BladeForums.
Those are some nice knives you linked to!

I am curious though, how did you come across that website? It looks to be very new and both reviews you linked to were written in the last week. Pretty distinctive writing style there too. I'm sure whoever owns it appreciates your links anyway. Its tough to get people to visit a new site without paying for advertising.

Anyway, good luck choosing a knife!
dead giveaway emboldened, lol.
detective spketch on the case.
