  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I want a lg starbenza!

Maybe call CRK tomorrow and confirm if they are pushing back production another month.
I can hold out another week maybe but another month...arghhhh :grumpy:

I contacted Wilson Combat today about my order, and Tonya replied to tell me that early September is now the guesstimated shipping time frame.

I ordered the small starbenza before WC increased the price to match CR's increase and was told August 31. It arrived today, almost a month earlier. I hope you guys have the same good fortune.

Small left hand Starbenza is my most EDCed CRK out of 3 small seb, 1 large seb, 1 mnandi. The texture give me a firm grip. Wish those waiting will get theirs soon.

i just check the site too, out of stock??? they were never in stock. feeling a little annoyed by this now. They shouldn't have said 8-1-11, if they had no idea in the first place. :\

There probably not taking anymore pre orders for the large because the first run has been sold out.

Can anyone give an informed guess on when the next batch of large Starbenzas will be done, and how many total batches they're going to do? I know none of you know for sure but just basing this on what they've done with the small Starbenza and the star-tac.

I have been following this thread since the large Starbenza appeared on Wilson's site. I have become obsessed with getting this knife and have even had dreams of it. I had been on the very verge of ordering it several days these past weeks, but I choose to wait for a second batch just because I want to have a lot of money saved before then so buying this doesn't completely drain my disposable income.

The only one concern I have is, on TheBigBrad's youtube review of the small Starbenza he demonstrates that the lock bar goes over almost to the other handle. It looks like it locks up 90%. He said it was common with a lot of the newer Sebenzas and that a lot of people didn't like it. Is this in any way a bad thing and does this take away from the life of the knife by allowing less room for wear to take place?

Also, what kind of appreciation in value do you guys think the Starbenzas will have? I know that in general Sebenzas sell for a little less than retail but since this is a somewhat limited edition do you think this will be different? I'm talking 5 or so years from now.

Just FYI, my left hand small Starbenza is about 75% lockup (actual touching surfacing). My 2010 LH small 21 and 2007 LH small Web-Sight are both about 50%. I don't mind it and the Starbenza's unlocking is not sticky at all.

I ordered my first CRK last night, a small starbenza, from Wilson; Lets hope it ships soon!

I believe these beauts' may be in!

There was a significant drop in my bank account :foot: and if I recall, we were not to be charged until the product is in stock. :D

Thats good news. I would be way stoked to come home to a package on my doorstep on Monday. Crossing fingers:eagerness:
