I want a stripper!

AFAIK, you can strip the blade with chemical stripper, and then use a power wire brush without risking the warranty.


If you do have the shop do the work, be sure to post pics.
 
Strip it then satin finish it by driving it into wood over and over again :)

Thats what I would do.

I recommend the old style "CF" or competition finish if you are going to send it in to be stripped. The results with the thinner convexed edge are even better than satin for a user because scratches do not show and the INFI dimples are like fingerprints.

I had that done to my CGFBM and it came back the sharpest factory ground Busse I own, period. It's next to a satin BWM for comparison of finishes.

Talking to Jerry, this is what I'm going to do. The competition finish, which is like double cut, only with dimples.

The only question is, do I send in my recently acquired BATAC with it as well and have them match?
