Well, I started a bit different.

I got the Heinnie Haynes UKPK titanium scales and installed them



They came machined perfectly with two bronze washers.



The disassembly was pretty straightforward and no problem at all



To install the backspring, I used some pliers with some tape to don't scratch it up. - Also relatively easy

Now I got a Titanium UKPK and I really like it



I paid 50€ for the scales including shipping, so no I got a quite affordable Titanium Slipjoint, that I really enjoy

Our adult son has been heroically supportive of my wife and I lately as we deal with age related health issues on the threshold of our mid-70s.,

His 44th birthday comes in a few weeks. I think he wants a Spiderco, but instead . . . .In recognition of, and in appreciation for his efforts, I just got him a Chris Reeve Sebenza in Magnicut.

It should last him a lifetime . . .if he doesn't lose it.

I just saw the DEMKO AD20.5 with smooth titanium and I think I'm in love...

If I look at the overall verdict here, that could be a nice choice.

Being a big Hinderer fan I have to agree with you here on the AD20.5... This is the Sharksfoot in 3v and it is not just smooth scales it is smooth action as well...

can't go wrong on this...
