I want my own line of knives, how do I do that?

I'm a culinary instructor and sushi chef with a small food company. I would love to start my own line of yanagi sushi knives to sell. I'm thinking of making a line of flashy, exotic handled sushi knives for the rock star type sushi maker who wants his knife to be a show piece. Sure you can spend $1000 for a sushi knife today but it looks like every other sushi knife out there.
I want to find a knife maker that can make these knives at a reasonable price so that I can sell them through my company.
Can anybody mentor me on this idea?
