I want this bad

I'm almost certain it won't be Ti. I Jeff saying it would just be a steel framelock. Ti is too expensive and RAT Cutlery knives are meant to WORK, not be some super-fancy materials.

I'm guessing that thinking isn't your strong point.

Must email Reeve and Strider and tell them that titanium doesn't WORK.

Maybe you need to learn that I was trying to make a point, and that it wasn't meant to be taken literally. ;)

Of course Ti is an excellent material and is very strong, but why bother spending the extra costs on Ti when a steel frame-lock works just as well?

Steel is stronger than Ti - so it comes down to whether to go with the lighter metal or not.

Titanium has the highest strength to weight ration of any metal. In it's unalloyed form it's as strong as most steels and more corrosion resistant.

Whether or not to go with Ti is more likely to depend on personal preference and cost rather than any strength issues.

I don't really need any more knives - but then again those both look pretty sweet, and the shape of blade that I like too. Maybe I do need a couple more knives?
when i seen the picture of that folder the word need never entered my mind,
it was more like want!!!!!

yea the izula folder is a must have, looks fantastic. I wonder what the price is going to be on that bad boy

It occurs to me that I don't even have a regular Izula - I might have to get one on the next order I place. I don't have a fixed blade at that size and it would be a handy wee knife to have available.

izula folder is one badass lookin knife! hopefully they come out w a S60V blade instead of the d2

i can't wait for the izula folder to come it out looks very solid. and d2 steel is good to go imo. if they do some customs i would likely pick up a vg10 or s30v or s60v but the d2 is a good working steel for the bush and edc

I think I just found my first and second RAT knives. Is the junglas going to be made from 1095?

Nice design, I'llgo for a couple when they become available, I don't always carry a fixed blade but do carry a folder ALL the time.

Damn, by the time it will come out, every one-hand opening folder wil be illegal here. On the same path as the UK, Denmark, Germany... Stupid thing is that in the UK the one-hand thing is still OK, as long as it doesn't lock. Which boils down your options to, basically, a 110 or a Spyderco UKPK.

Anyway...

...I WILL get one just to piss the bastards off! :grumpy::rolleyes::D
