…and have some questions: I finally managed to get an air reservoir from a Volvo truck brake system. It is 20 l in volume and I want to weld to it a pipe which I will be able to insert the burner inside. The gas will be regular cooking gas, lots of it. I have access to a welder and a lathe. I will be thankful for any pictures & explanation of what to buy/get and how to build the burner, that on all my searches here on the forum looked more or less the same: a pipe… How is the nozzle built? The gas flow etc.
BTW, because it will be using low BTU gas, I think I will put 2 burners, side by side. What do you think?
Thank you very much in advance – Michael.

So you don't want any oxygen mixed with the gas? Or are you thinking of a venturi burner or forced air?

No, no mixing or forced air. I managed to chery red a big file with only one standart gas burner on a small tanker, but this forge has much bigger volume.

zoellerforge.com and elliscustomknifeworks.com are both great resources as well as ron reils site. They display different burners and give you are basic layout of how and why they work.

How come when I go to your link it says ...Reported Attack Page!

It's a known issue with his site. There isn't anything wrong with it. I just bypass it and enjoy my visit.

Thanks, I will. I just had to have my computer rebuilt after a virus about 6 months ago so I've been more careful.
