I am looking for a knife maker with a good reputation and who is confident in his work to build me a fixed blade knife to my specs. I have a very simple design in mind so I expect the price to be reasonable.
I want a knife made for myself that I can carry and use with pride. I want a light weight fixed blade with a blade no longer than 6 inches. I want my knife to be made of a tough carbon steel with a top of the line heat treat. I am not sure what type of carbon steel is best suited for my needs yet but we can discuss that later. I want the knife to be full tang of course, with G10 scales preferably in a desert tan color. I would also like to have a kydex or leather sheath made that will be included with the knife. Lastly, it would be a big plus if you can also do some engraving or embedding work on the blade.
