I want to name my dog after a knife, any suggestions

I've been told you should use a name with no more than two syllables and something you wont be embarassed to yell as you go down the street.

I have a black lab female that I named Cricket (I'm more of a gun nut). I paged through the BBOGVs until I saw something I liked.

I was going to say something like "Buck" but that may not fit her well.
Kiwi sounds stupid for a dog.

I think I'd have to agree with 555 and say "Queen". Or maybe "Lady" (short for LadyBug).

I think Becker would be a cool name for a dog. Ranger works but maybe too much of a cliche.

"There've been a lot of stories about how I got to be called Duke. One was that I played the part of a duke in a school play--which I never did. Sometimes, they even said I was descended from royalty! It was all a lot of rubbish. Hell, the truth is that I was named after a dog!" - John Wayne
