I want to see Koyote longknives

Yea bro I cant wait to get it, Biggest blade Ive ever owned. Cant wait to chop with it, and maybe do some pig huntin.

Another spanish dirk I'm working on. Heat treated and belt finished to 220, now it's hand work 220 down to 600. 20.75 inches overall and the blade is 13.75. 8670m steel, differentially tempered.

Forged the tip out and some of the blade bevel, handle is stock thickness, 3/16. most of the distal taper in on the forward third of the blade. It's heavy, a full 17 ounces, but pretty well balanced and feels lighter. two people guessed 12 ounces even, so I'm doing okay on the feel.

This one is a bit thick for good brush cutting. Kalama's is 1/8. I'd say this one is fully 'weaponized' :D

Of course, if you prefer.... it's here....being hand rubbed....
 
I'm going to throw my Koyote santoku in here. I know it's a kitchen knife, but it's a real beast, with a ~10" blade.

Those Spanish dirks are kick A@# looking.

But I also have to say, that
Santoku knife looks great too.
 
That big leuku-ish one of KGD's is one of the most attractive big blades I've ever seen, would love to get one sometime down the road!! Very practical.

There is a Spanish dirk in my future, very cool blades. What was the traditional method of carry? typical size for original patterns? Single or double edged?
