I want umfaan

Why is Chris Reeve not making umfaan anymore? Will they make them again in the future? Does anybody know?
 
One like this? Just back from the Spa in time for Christmas. Santa Reeves came thru again.:D
 
I'd say the Mnandi took over as the smaller CRK, and Chris just kinda put the Umfaan on the backburner.
 
Yup. There was talk of a possible redesign of the Umfaan, but the Mnandi has been such a success, and so many other knives are taking all the production time he can give them, the Umfaan may be history.

Except for those of us who got one. :D
 
I like it, not that the small sebbie is BIG or something but a tiny Reevey would be nice! (well a mnandi is on the wish list)
