A good friend of mine gave me a belated Christmas gift yesterday, I'm going to carry it a while and see how it does. It disappears in my front pocket! Anyone have experience with a SPEW?

cool little blade,,you mad mode it with a pocket clip on the sheath,,if you don't mind some handle sticking out

I've played around with the custom versions; great design.

Nice little knife. Had one for a month or so but my son fell in love with it so I gave it to him.

Really like the design,

Just cause I felt like it................

It survived, the tip is stronger than it looks.

Still wonder about that. But, nobody has posted up their mod of a SPEW wharncliffe yet. I do expect to see them over the years.

Might pick up one of those at a yard sale or flea market.

I like mine. Cool little knife, but I must admit it doesn't get used very much. I carry it as a backup knife whenever it rotates into my EDC.

Bought one for my girlfriend, it's trim and light enough that it does go to work with her, so it's performing the task I'm asking of it admirably.

Seems sharp to me, and certainly an improvement over having nothing but a pen or pizza on her.

I just got a SPEW over Christmas, its a really nice pocket knife. It goes nice with the two custom Folts Minimalists ive had for years. Ive also got a nice fixed blade hunter and just recieved my custom folder from Alan after he got done showing it off at SHOT.

Alan Davis?

It was comical I thought.

My girlfriend didn't want to carry it as a neck knife for long, because she was concerned that it would be harder to get to and that the lanyard could catch in her waistline or belt and pull it out while driving, leaving the point pretty much destined to poke her. The sheath does feel pretty mild, luckily she loves it as a pocket knife, and the sheath works beautifully for it.

The SPEW was designed as a pocket knife. Someone had a minimalist and wanted a similar knife with a longer blade for pocket carry.

I've only held one, but I really liked the feel. Wish it came with more of a Leek-like needle point, the one I held was slightly rounded.

Mine is pointy and sharp. I either neck it or wear it on my belt horizontally. It dissapears easily.
