It may be my eyes or my screen but that blade doesn’t look right.

I've never seen a Buck with that long button and notch in the blade, looks ike the ones I see at gun & knife shows, done by a company I think is Paragon?

2013 most likely an import. The market was flooded with them awhile back. No it is NOT a factory auto.

Their are 2 listed in their 2018 catalog, both 110's. The model above is a Buck 110 but the work was not done at Buck. They come out of Arizona. I've seen those around in my travels. A auto is only as good as it's spring. DM

That's made by the friend of our friend 5135...Not authorized, NO WARRANTY. Send the listing and where you found it into Buck...

It's a regular 110 that they made it into an auto... I'd give you the website, but I don't want to have anything to do with 5135. I'm sure you that know who I'm talking about doesn't either...

Not a Buck. Not a modified Buck from Az. This is an imported counterfeit.

-Blade grind is wrong.
-Swedge is wrong.
-Choil is wrong.
-Stamp is not center tang as they are if it were a 110 that was modified.
-No “BUCK” on sheath snap.
To name a few...

Buck’s stamps are always centered except for their autos where they stamp them off center, clear of the detent.

A modified authentic Buck will have the stamp centered in the blade height. The imports have the stamp off center.

Yep, and EVERY one of these I've held at shows, about 50% of the times you push the button, they blade didn't go all the way to the locked position.

The snap also looks to be brass? Wouldn't it be NS?

MT_Pokt got it right.

Sorry gang... that knife is pure 100% Chinese Counterfit. Used to sell on AliExpress.com for $40 something including shipping to your door although I looked recently and they are no longer listed there. Anyone the says they are converted by a friend, a guy, someone in Arizona, or a buddy is lying. The knife is NOT a conversion, it is a purpose built counterfit from China. There is a knife dealer here in St Louis that sells those, he knows they are Chinese fakes, tells people he gets them from a guy who buys buck 110's and converts them ha ha. Pays $45 and sells for $135... big profit. At a local gun show recently I had a guy proudly showing me his new 112 Auto he bought from a dealer somewhere. Ordered 2, he was going to give the other to his brother. Had a hard time convincing him it was a fake.

I remember seeing that one a few years ago. The wood is peculiar, but actually I like it a little. They weren’t autos at the time.

Tony Wagner has taken over brand protection duties from Joe Houser.
Send any website links or auctions containing counterfits to twagner@buckknives.com

I would appreciate a copy of the link if you see these being sold myself. I keep track of this stuff.

Absolutely fake look at the top grind on the blade if it does not go up past the k on the buck logo it's fake.

It looks a lot like what that website was selling. I have informed Buck about it. Mt Pokt did point out the differences, that I now can see in JD's picture.

We do agree its a Fake Buck knife....I was going on appearance and have been learning the details from the experts here on the forum...
