I wish ______ would make...?

I wish Spyderco would make the Endura and Delica with G-10 AND a frame lock. I know they already have the rare G-10 models, but back locks are my least favorite locks.

In my experience, Spyderco's lockback knives are super-secure and a snap to open and close one-handed. I'm with you on the G-10, but what don't you like about lockbacks?

I don't have a problem with the lock itself, I just prefer one handed closing knives. I've had 2 Delicas, 1 Endura, and one Native and I can't seem to close them one handed. Just the combo of awesome steel, awesome ergos with a frame lock would be great, not to mention look sexy:D

I wish Spyderco would make an EXTRA LARGE HEAVY DUTY ENDURA! Something in the 5 inch range.

I wish Ernie Emerson would just go ahead and make a production version of the CQC6 that looks exactly like the handmade version. This knife literally started the tactical knife craze yet he won't put it into production and stopped taking orders for the handmade version many years ago. What on earth is he waiting for? What's worse is he may have missed the window to cash in on this concept. Many people new to knives don't know the significance of the CQC6 and there are so many great folders (actually better) being made today. Sorry for the little tirade there but this has baffled me for years.

My aspirations are small enough . . .

I wish Buck Knives would make a Sodbuster.

While we're at it, perhaps they could also make a Scandi pattern, along the lines of the Mora or Puukko blades.

Oh, and finally, since it's looking like the folks at EKA have left the stage, could we get the guys at Mora (Frosts & Eriksson) to come up with a decent and inexpensive Scandi folder? Something to replace the Swede 82, Swede 92, Swede 88 and the other classics that EKA used to make -- you know, before they partnered up with Outdoor Edge?

I wish Spyderco would do an equivalent to that other knife company's gold class. That I would pay for. I also wish they would fix the damn clip issues on the Military, an otherwise perfect(for me) knife. And yeah. A Ti Para would be fantastic.

Wish someone would make REKAT folders SIFU and Pocket Hobbit in titanium frame locks and modern steels.

Less choils/shorter ricassos all around...

Emerson makes a HUGE run of CQC7As in both sizes and both colors...

Somebody to make a high quality folding scandi...

Going off that, I wish Keltec would make a larger capacity handgun

And I wish that there were more 9mm carbines out there. Beretta and Keltec kind of dominate the market now, and both are great, but I would like to see more

My dad gave me one of those Keltec carbines: what is the point? I have a pistol and a real rifle.

1. + 1!!

2. What's wrong with EKA knives? ;)

3. I wish some SAK:s were made of a better steel.

Admittedly, I haven't handled the EKA, but it doesn't look (in pics, on the Internet) like what I have in mind...

I'd want something along the lines of a blade in the range of 3 inches, no more than 1" in height, and a handle that was titanium or micarta and pocketable but "smooth". I can't think of a good handle pattern or example right now... (Buck Mayo maybe?)

I wish Spyderco and KAI would let you customize some of their most popular models like how BM does with the Griptilian.

Pick your blade steel, scale material and color, pocket clip position (so there's no superfluous drill holes, cleaning up the look), pocket clip finish (PVD, stonewash, polished)

That would so give me a bone-bone.

I wish Ontario, Buck or Becker would make a knife that looks like the SOG Creed. Looks like an effective blade design for an all around beater knife. Or at least SOG could lower the price.

The EKA Swede 92 should fit your bill, although the handle material is rubber/silicone mix and not Titanium or Micarta :): http://www.heinnie.com/EKA-Knives/Folding-Knives/EKA-Swede-92-Rubber/p-134-984-7281/

I want All US knife companies to fully produce only in the USA. Enough of the " We can't keep up with foreign competition without outsourcing some or all of our products" That is just bull shat. Someone high up always needs more profit and never gives a crap about the US workers. There is no loyalty , only greed.

And, I want Spyderco to make a flipper also as stated above. And Sal, if you are viewing this thread, you can send me the prototype of any new idea and I will put it to the test and give you feedback with a large smile on my face. Like this::D This would please me very much....

I wish...

Doug Ritter would switch to M390 in the RSK Mk1 and mini.

Spyderco would make a VG-10 Para2.

Benchmade would put G10 scales on the Griptilians (and add M390 as an option on the Build Your Own site).
