I wish i had a SEBENZA!!!

Hello,

After Seeing and handling a CR SEBENZA, i have come to the conclusion i really, really
really Want one BAD!! I think(my opinion)it has to be the best Production/semi-custom
Folder made today. I know this is wierd comming from a Knifemaker,but i cant help it,they are just COOL!

Although i cant even afford to buy one of my own Knives to use,(3 kids and a Wife)eat up all that money,,bills Take the rest. I hope one day to be able to Buy or maybee Trade for one
of those SEBENZAS. Im not a big Folder Fan, but i have to figure a way to get one of those.

And besides Chris and Ann Reeve are just all around Nice people.

Allen,
Maybe one of our Sebenza rich Forumites will work a trade with you for one of your knives. Your work is, from what I read here, worth just as much as a Sebenza. Maybe someone out there has one too many Sebbies and one too few Allen Blade blades.

Couldn't hurt to check it out.

I agree after seeing a close up of the BCF SEBENZA
I REALLY WANT ONE.....
I have seen it compared to other knives and never really noticed until recently how awsome it was......

! Got to give my .02 worth though. It is good to see a custom maker take notice of the Sebenza's admirable strengths. While I have not yet seen your work Allen, I've heard nothing but good about it. That you are smitten by the Sebenza is pretty high praise indeed IMHO. And Mickey, when you finally get one I think you had better warn Mike so that he can give the server a boost. We probably won't be able to shut you up

Yep there pretty Great Knives, i have always been Impressed with CReeves Knives and his attention to detail and workmanship. I remember seeing one of his Tiny little Folders at a SHow and i was Smittin with them from that point on. I have dabbled with Making a few Folders myself in the past and am Going to start making some Balisongs myself.
But still I got to have ONE!!

The best thing i like is the 5 or 6 that i have seen and held all Funtioned, and performed the same, everytime. That tells me that even if i am a knife maker and can make folders too,that CR knives Makes, and is a Quality firm and takes Pride in there Product. That even if i am a Knifemaker is enough to make me want to own one.

Couldn't help it...was this Sebenza you speak of, one you just recently put a false edge on? Or another?

Anyhoo, if and when you're gonna shop around for one I'd recommend Cecil Self at <A HREF="http://www.arrow-dynamics.com">Arrow Dynamics</A>. He sells "pre-owned" Sebenzas as he calls them, though they appear as though they just left the shop at very reasonable prices. He can prob get you a could deal on a partially serrated one if you were interested. Thanks again for the nifty job on mine, and hope you get to join the afflicted

I happen to have a lightly used large Plain that I picked up for just such an occasion.

My keeper is on it's to have my name engraved on the scale. Once I get this back I am going to have my small engraved also.
