I wish Kershaw would...

I too wish they went back to their roots with beefy overbuilt but functional knives. The "Proudly Overbuilt in the US" label on pocket jewelry just doesn't fly. The Ken Onion and Hinderer collabs were the best ZT ever put out. The Emersons were a breath of fresh air among the ocean of slop.

Having only recently bought a ZT since probably twenty five years ago I would feel bad to see them go. I didn't like the chonk I bought back then. It felt like it took up half my pocket.

I'll add to that offer in the box a fold over deep carry clip instead of making me have to order a clip that costs a bunch more on top of the affordable knife just to be able to deep carry.

better yet, move the blade lock slider thing to adjust the clip?, would be cool to adjust it from deep carry to normal carry... if such a thing would work
have I just invented something or does this already exist? LOL, now I'm going down a rabbit hole

use another kind of Damascus than that ugly Alabama stuff. No offense but it's just so unattractive.

Feel free to say what you wish Kershaw would do. I know that they don't have a sub here but maybe someone will see it. (on the biggest knife forum on the web!)
I agree with you. I'm not a fan of mixing a bunch of steels with different optimal heat treats and different thermal/expansion/contraction properties.

I'm also not a fan of putting non-hardening metals in the mix.

I wish Kershaw would continue making ZT style knives once Kai Cutlery closes down ZT and also I want them to make a titanium handled balisong similar to the Benchmade 40 series.
I'm shocked and somewhat dismayed.
It saddens me that they would close their premium USA production brand in favour of more and more product made in China.
