i didn't see an option for s30v and I didn't realize that vg-10 would have to be shipped in. but if it did have qualities similar to my endura, it would rock me.

I like VG10 and I like FFG. It would be pretty good except for the problem of VG10 being not USA-made.

I've never tried 154CM, but I'm sure it's up there with VG10.

most def keep it american, but hell yeah with FFG. they should just offer the sabre ground as the base model and a more expensive s30v or m4, FFG with different colored scales. theres the ticket. makes EVERYBODY HAPPY

If I could have anything I wanted it would be a FFG Manix 2 with orange scales to match my UKPK. Now that would be sweet!

The current "base model" Manix 2 represents a great value for the money. Spyderco has already released two sprint runs with FFG and will be releasing another one shortly. Tom Krien, and I'm sure others as well, can regrind the 154CM to FFG, so there are some options for those afficianados who desire FFG.

That said, given the high interest in those Sprints, it might be worth Spyderco's while to consider offering a FFG 154CM version at an appropriately higher price in addition to the saber ground version. I don't think VG-10 would be cost effective as it would need to be imported.
