I work at a knife store... please let me vent

kinda like being a Public SERVANT:rolleyes:  NOW, EVERYONE, REPEAT AFTER ME::::The Custo-MER is ALWAYS RIGHT:eek:
No ****
I feel for you guys, would it NOT be a well deserved and earned remark to tell the JERK who has disrespected you, tested your intelligence, patience, and while you remained helpful and provide a wonderful service to attempt to make a sale, the Moron who is being rude, crass, abrasive, and has an ego to match BECOMES worthy of you FINALLY saying in any form that brings stress relief:::Take a flying***, you stupid whatever??????
This is NOT a statement...This is just a POST;) ;) wolf

OT I know, but here's my experience in 93 when I was a server at the Hard Rock Cafe. I had to put up with this situation every 2 days.

Me: Hi there, how you guys doing?
Couple: Uh, no thanks, we're not ready to order yet...
Me: Okay, take your time.

Me: Alright, we ready to order now?
Couple[Guy asks Girl]: Uh, what would you like?
Couple[Girl asks Guy]: Um, dunno, what would you like?
After 5 mins of constant undecided questions between each other, they finally order, Pork Ribs and a BBQ Chicken.

After 15 mins:
Me: Okay, here's your Ribs...
Girl[Interupts]: I didn't order this..did you order this? [Girl asks the guy]
Guy: I think so...did I order this?[Guy asks me]

...:)

Hi, you were talking about sales people in shops. i have a story about the knife knowledge of the sales people of the biggest knife importor of the Netherlands and Belgium.
I once visited their booth at a fair and we started talking about the new BM models (this was approx. 1 year ago). they only had the brochure and I said that was a pity because I really wanted to take a good look at the Boa. Then anothet sales guy came over amd said "well, i have one in my pocket" I asked "what do you think of the CPM 440 steel?" With a grin on his face he answered "huh, what, you're mistaking, it is ATS 34!" I replied i was certain it was CPM440, he then took out his knife, opened it and turned over the blade. You should have seen the look on his face when he read CPM440! I them offered to start working for them after my graduation.
