I would call her Chopohantos.

WOW!!
Great pictures, as well as a great effort, all that chopping really takes it out of you.
I also love that dense country you are in.
Ian.

Wow, that was a work out!!! GREAT pics, and congrats on the fun and seeing the pleasure of using a CGFBM.

Good on ya Jaxx!!!

Looks like a blast!! I really like the CG FBM, but I just can't get over those corrugations..I like the FFBM!

Looks to me like you need to hold a chop-off up at your place. I'm sure no one would mind helping you clear most of these trees.:D

Yes, a log that thick would prove a daunting task for any knife blade or anything short of a felling ax! I guess you need to know that you can do it for survival preparation though. What if a tree fell across the road when you were on the way to the liquor store! Life or death man!

Great pictures, I usually wear leather gloves when I am doing that much chopping on anything. You should get a CGFBM or at least some form of FBM. My favorite is the NMFBM then the FFBM then the CGFBM. I dont use the CG much after getting these other two but its still a great blade.

I might just have an extra CG or three laying around ... ditto on the NMs. However, the NMFBM is a pretty heavy customer.

If you want to try the old lady out, just send me a PM or an e-mail. You know where I live! :D

I will say this: MMIAB's forest makes my measly little wood look pretty rinky-dink. I hardly ever find chopping material that challenging.

OP...you ARE the man. I'd love to try one out, but I don't have anything NEARLY as interesting to chop up as MMIAM. Some light avocado branches and that's about it. Mostly, I just want to fondle one, SO, when the time comes that I DO have some chopping to do, I will certainly drop you a line.

Btw...got a pm today from a friendly hog in Oz. He received his treat, and was grateful. Glad it worked out for both of you.

Yep. He is a good fellow and I hope he gets much joy from that.

Just let me know when you'd like to try her out. She's pretty lonely these days ... I've been getting my chop on with heavier knives recently.
