I want another commander. One with the older style bevel. If anyone wants to sell me one or knows where I can get one please let me know. Thanks

The bevel on my 2000 knife is very thin towards the base and as it goes towards the tip it gets wider. I really don't like the new bevel.

Did you check with Mark of MJ&S? I think his Emerson big sale is still on.
 
My sheriff Friend has one for sale thats a 1998 model #695 go to my web site and link to my ezboard, i listed it in the Factory folder forsale forum there. He wants $100.00 for it

I'm not sure when the changes were made, but the newest Commanders have thinner liners, what looks like a dual-ball detent set up (on on each liner) and a slightly different grind on the blade's tip.

This is strange I have a 1998 model Commander
that has the exact same serial number that was on Allen Blades friends knife. Could anyone tell me why? This is not the same knife as I bought mine from Petes Tactical back in Feb. of this year.
Any feed back would be most welcome
