I Would Like To Thank

15 yrs served, but my thanks are for those before, during, and after me as well. I have had many family, and friends that have served and lost several of those. My Mothers father fought in WW1, and he passed back in 1989 at 94 yrs old. I remember him talking about the trenches, the smells, and sounds he said he could never get out of his mind. Then I went in and I to have similar memories. The one thing I can't forget, is the people. The closest friends I have ever had, and I am not affraid to say I loved them all, my brothers.

All the Veterans, past and present, those gone and those still with us, for their sacrifices and service to keep us safe and to keep America the great country it is.

God Bless

To all the Veterans & their families, Thank you ALL for your enormous sacrifices, whether given at home or abroad in service, to ensure our liberty & security... And for your dedication to keep our great Nation the wonderful country that we all enjoy so much. Without YOU to keep us safe, what kind of nation would we still have??? Thank you for EVERTHING you've endured for our freedom & safety. God bless you all & God bless America!

I salute you ALL, with the complete respect that you deserve. Thank you, from this humble American.

... And thank you too, Dad!

You Hogs make this a special place.....always, but it's the little post in between the normal conversation that really stands out.

THANK YOU! And I want to thank all the men and women who served before me and to all who served with and after me.

It is the people of this great nation that servicemen defend and are willing to lay their lives down for.

It is honorable veterans like you that this day was made for...

I salute them and you!

Your service is very much appreciated and recognized.

God bless!

"The best things in life are beyond money; their price is agony and sweat and devotion...and the price demanded for the most precious of all things in life is life itself---ultimate cost for for perfect value."
Robert A. Heinlein

To all our veterans, thank you for your service!!

A girl needs a knife...

This afternoon, while visiting a young Marine's family at Camp Lejeune, NC, I related the story of a conversation last week with a colleague who felt sadness that our son Byron and others were "victims" of war. I told that colleague that Byron gave his life willingly that other brothers might live and would refuse to be categorized as a victim.

I love being in the company of those who serve this nation and am grateful for those who have gone before us. Thanks to the Hogs here who have shown such grateful and patriotic spirit on this Veterans Day.

Bill
