I-XL George Wostenholm Sheffield England - pocket knife from my grandfather details

I wouldn’t use sandpaper on the rust. The rust is pretty minor and some oil and elbow grease using a q-tip, piece of wood, or even paper will remove the rust without making new scratches. A soft toothbrush might work, too.

I’m confused…

If the second knife similar to mine is said to be pre war, how come it’s in the above catalogue from a later date ..? Or was the production just co tiniest through the decades

Please can someone help me a little further,
My penknife seem to be a possible model somewhere between the B204 and the B201.

Please can someone help me a little further,
My penknife appears to possibly be a Model somewhere between the B201 and the B204.
The reason I say this is because my can opener is the same as the model as the B201 above in the catalogue, but yet has the bottle opener of the model with screwdriver tip above, in the catalogue B204.
Does anyone now the model of mine please . Pictures below with the light brown material background,
Thanks you all

👍🏻ahhh…brilliantly, many thanks 🍻
Hi. Just dug out my dad's old pocket knife further to moving house recently. Great to find it again... My mum gave it to my dad when he was in the RAF during WW2.
It's engraved with his initials and his service number. Thought I would find out a bit about it, so it was really nice to find it being mentioned on this forum, and see the pics of the same model in the catalogue : it's a B204 Sportsman's model.
I have a pic of my dad standing in a field in France after D Day, and can imagine it in his pocket on that day in that place....
