Two beautiful handmade knives on the block today. Few notes:

1. I can send more pics of any that you're interested in.
2. I prefer contact via email to dnfreda @ gmail.com . If you're not able to email, then use PM. Please do not post on this thread.

1. Ian Hall (Hall Handmade) Custom - I bought this directly from Ian and the craftsmanship is extremely excellent. I've never used it and, as much as I like to look at it and hold it, it's being wasted just sitting in my safe. Handle is Carbon Fiber and OD Canvas Micarta. Blade is N690. The fit and finish is very, very good. 5.5" blade and 5" handle on this one. Price: $350

2. Matt Bailey Custom - I bought this directly from Matt, and again, the craftsmanship is awesome. I've never used this one either. Blade is San Mai with 1080 core and the handle is spalted Pecan. It's a great knife. Even the sheath is astounding craftsmanship. 4.25" blade and 8.5" total length. Price: $250

Has the spalted pecan been stabilized? I wonder about the durability of the handle for field use?

Thanks. Kendall
