• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Not really an ice ax but the average temp in my shop has been around 30 degrees since I started this project. Its not totally finished but real close. The head was hand forged out of 1" square 1080. I up set the front to almost 2" before I started forging the bit. The customer was wanting 4" point to point on the bit. If I had a large enough opening in the forge I could have gotten 5" easily. Its got a 13 1/2" extra curly maple haft. I'll get more pictures after its completed.
