Ice Razor off to Iraq

Damn, that looks shiny!

Awesome job you've done on the ice razor!!

Thanks for all the great comments!!
I will definitely show a detailed step by step process of how I did it.
It actually doesnt take that long.
Even though if you follow the dates on my pics it has been worked on over a period of months, but the actual work time is only several hours.

I told my buddy, the Marine, when I gave it to him that if he needed/wanted to spray paint it black he's more than welcome too. That way he doesnt attract unwanted attention. But then again he said he could use it to see around corners or signal someone in the distance, or a plane. I can always restrip it and the mirror finish will still be there.

Ill post again when I'm off of work tonight!
Merry Christmas all!

I know a couple places in the Green Zone and around Tikrit that can get that bead blasted for him, and Tan Krylon can be found in any PX... Wow, you're gonna have to do all that work all over again when he gets back :) :) :)!!!

Seriously though, that is some stong work and about as awosome a gesture as one can give a ServiceMember.

Thanks Gunsite!!!

You know, I was thinking......
What gray or black metal primer spray paint? Shouldn't any army mechanic shop have that?
(and shouldn't it be pretty durable too?)

wow, really nice! That blade to me looks almost transparent or invisible in that wood. If I were in Iraq, I would most love to have a Busse with me.

 Awesome job!! Your fingers must have fallen off with all the sanding you did!!

You're No 1 man, for the beautiful work and the act of kindness to your friend. I too wish for their safe return.

Very nice gesture! Coming from one who sent a BME to the sandbox with a friend of my son's it's nice to see that type of generosity being spread around. I hope both will return safe and sound! Nice job on the knives, by the way.
