So I purchased my Trail Hawk after Christmas and slightly modified it. But have not gotten to try her out, UNTIL TODAY.

(sorry no pics from today's activities)

We had a bad ice storm hit here in south west Ohio and we lost a lot of big branch's from our trees. So I went out today with Hawk in hand to chop them down to size.
The trail Hawk kicks @$$, it made light work of the small branches, one swing, gone. Chopped some 5" dia limbs in two, with just a few whacks. I am very pleased and impressed with my Trail Hawk. I had very good control, it felt very natural and comfortable. Very cool.

based on your title I was envisioning you chipping the ice off you sidewalk. It was kind of a fun vision :)

Here in Texas we've had some serious cold too over the last few days. Gave two of my sons Trail Hawks. One lives in Austin the other in Maryland. Hmmm....should have bought one for me too.
