Pawn shop is closed Sundays. I'll head down there in the morning with pictures, just to verify who sold it to the pawn shop and see what else of mine might be there.

I'm hoping if I file a police report, I can rewind the whole situation.
 
I'm hoping that something good for both of you can happen from this. As stated before, glad that a regular got it and you know where it is.

Hopefully the pawn shop will be helpful and it will be from a regular pos or tweaker they know and the cops can arrest them.

I think I posted bond for that regular pos, tweaker on Friday, yes they know him, unfortunately it's my 35 year old son. I thought he was only stealing from my change jar, guess not.

Things may have started out on a sour note but karma has a way of kicking in and working things out.
I hope you guys are both made whole again.
 
Karma it is. I'm just chiming in so that I can see how this story ends. Especially because I want both hogs to end up where they started.

This sucks all the way around for obvious reasons. But at least there is chance for both sides to be made whole, because it's event that we have good guys both ends of this.

Thanks everybody, I have high hopes of this working out to everyone's favor. Like Jimmy said, he'll be going by the Pawn Shop and checking things out. Just waiting to see what he finds out and how he wants to proceed.

It's obviously the same knife, I sent him pics of the sheath it came with and its the same one, even still has the same paracord lanyard on the end.

Luckily we're all part of the community and even though I won't be keeping it, I'm glad it will be going back to it's rightful owner.
 
Wow, just, wow. Like others here, I recognized it immediately, mainly since I have coveted it ever since Jimmy got it. This is messed up.
