I am trying to ID a knife that I think was made by Western for Ward as a "Ward Master Quality" knife and thought some of you guys might be able to help me. Several months ago, I saw an old Ward Master Quality skinner for sale on ebay. I was outbid on it and figured I would see another soon. The only one I have seen since then was missing the pommel. The knife looks a lot like a Western L49, which Western also made for Ward as a "Ward Master Quality" knife. It differs from the L49 in several ways. It is slightly shorter; closer to 7" OAL as compared to 8" OAL on the L49. The blade profile, while very similar to the L49, is more upswept and has a more pronounced belly. The handle is much more barrel shaped than the L49. The leather handle is multi-colored for the first and last third of the handle and plain in the middle rather than being plain with three colored spacers like the L49. Here is the only picture I have (the pommel is missing):

Any info you guys have would be much appreciated.
