I'd rather have a Swayback than a bad back! - Winner Drawn!

Well done Jack and congratulations Ron. I didn't enter as I've been the recipient of so much generosity from the porch and Jack in particular already. Good stuff here. :D

Jack - Thank you so much for even having an opportunity let alone to be the winner of this beauty. It makes me proud to be in the company of Old and in the Way. One of these days when I go to visit my daughter I may have to see about a reunion photo of the 2 knives back together. My daughter lives in the same area as Stephen.

That would be a VERY cool photo Ron :) Stephen's dad has a Lambsfoot too (though with Rosewood covers)

Well as usual I'm a little behind here but Congrats Ron I can't think of a more worthy member to win. Jack as said before your generosity is legendary. Thanks for such a great thread and GAW,

GT are you sure GR isn't the Root Beer City? :D

My apologies to Jack and all of you for being late in posting this. I received the package on Tuesday and was amazed at the contents. Not only did Jack send me this beautiful A. Wright and Sons Real Lamb Foot knife clad in some beautiful Ebony, but he also filled the package with other very nice and interesting gifts. I have provided 2 hastily taken photos that show the contents. There was a hand written note from Jack along with 6 very informative Post Cards. There was a pair of Victorian Apostle Silver Sugar Nips, something that Pam and I have never seen before. And, I will probably never see again! There was a 1917 Penny, a beautiful Gold and Enameled 2 sided coin with Leeds on one side and Yorkshire on the other. There was also a very nice cast antique bottle opener, bearing the Crown Cork name.

Jack, my friend I thank you for this GAW and your generosity to this forum. I thank you for all you do, and the knowledge that you bring to us all. You are truly a blessing to us all. I also wish you a speedy and complete recovery from your back ailments.

Thanks once more to all the congratulatory well wishes from all our friends here. I promise that you will see some more photos in the near future.

Hoping you all have a blessed Sunday :)
