Id song help-1980's new wave

there is some song that goes something like "where do we go..oh-oh-oh-oh.."that line is repeated a few times in the chorus. It's some new wave-pretty guitar driven song. it's driving me nuts. thanks.

Um, Ed.....Led Zeppelin is not "new wave". :rolleyes:
 
No, it souns kind of like xtc,, or elvis costello, but it's not either of those bands. It could have been on a soundtrack or something. I'll keep looking.v
 
male singer , female singer ? Gotta be more specific and it couldnt be LZ , everyone knows who LZ is , unless it the Eek-a-mouse cover of that LZ song.
Laura Branigan had a song sort of like that but so did a slew of bands from the 80's .
 
It's a guy singer, upbeat, low production quality. I know t5ha this isn't much to go on..it may take me a few days to figure out. I'm pretty good with songs generally, and artists. it's the first to stump me in a while.
 
I hate when this happens. You'll figure it out in the middle of the night, but nobody else will find out till tomorrow :rolleyes:
 
This is a long shot, but: "Driver's seat" by Sniff N' The Tears? Nah, they didn't sound anything like XTC... but then neither did Elvis Costello...
