Id song help-1980's new wave

Hi TorzJohnson-

Judas Priest is my absolute most-favorite "New Wave" band in the world. ;)

I've seen them four times this year and will be seeing them one more time before 2006 rolls around. Rob Halford is sounding better than ever and both K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton are playing with energy usually seen in musicians half their ages. What a talented bunch of guys.

Led Zeppelin... Guns n' Roses... Why doesn't somebody suggest that great 80's New Wave band, Judas Priest???? Crimeny.

I know! It was Frank Sinatra, and it wasn't "where do we go..oh-oh-oh-oh.." it was "dooby dooby doo, doo dooby dooby ..."

Or it could have been that other great 80's New Wave singer, Pavarotti....

I've got a few of their albums, they were all good but "Painkiller" had some flat-out shredding going on. Tipton was amazing at that point.

Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing on the Screaming for Vengeance and Defenders of the Faith albums are the reasons I ever picked up a guitar. I still can't play those solos, all these years later.

Alan Parsons Project?

(lead vocal - lenny zakatek)

Where do we go from here now that all other children are growin’ up
And how do we spend our lives if there’s noone to lend us a hand

I don’t wanna live here no more, I don’t wanna stay
Ain’t gonna spend the rest of my life, quietly fading away

Games people play, you take it or you leave it
Things that they say, honor brite
If I promise you the moon and the stars, would you believe it
Games people play in the middle of the night

Where do we go from here now that all of the children have grown up
And how do we spend our lives knowin’ nobody gives us a damn

I don’t wanna live here no more, I don’t wanna stay
Ain’t gonna spend the rest of my life, quietly fading away

Games people play, you take it or you leave it
Things that they say, just don’t make it right
If I’m telling you the truth right now, do you believe it
Games people play in the middle of the night

Games people play, you take it or you leave it
Things that they say, honor brite
If I promise you the moon and the stars, would you believe it
Games people play in the middle of the night

Games people play, you take it or you leave it
Things that they say, just don’t make it right
If I’m telling you the truth right now, do you believe it
Games people play in the middle of the night

I have now resorted to singing the little snippet if the song at everybody in my office. It is embarassing. I have determined that 1) some variant of "where do we go" is the most popular set of lyrics in english, and 2)it is none of the above.

Wait-I think is's "walking back to happiness" by the Boomtown rats!
Man-That's a relief.

The first song that I thought of was 'The Fixx': Red Skies at Night.

Doesn't have the 'where do we go', but the OH's have it.... :)
