i believe its called a fokos. i dont know the exchange rate but if its a good piece and not just a mall collectible shop knockoff then go for it and let us know how it handles.
 
It is a walking stick-ice axe. Traditional in the mountain regions of Poland. If it has rings on one side near the top they are for decorative ribbons to denote the region or holiday.
 
Just curious what kind of wood that is? Or was the pattern burned on?
