I'm hoping someone here can help me. In the early 80's I had a throwing knife that had belonged to my father. He said he bought it in the late 50's, mail order, and that it was a "Asian style", whatever that means. It looked like a spear pointed dagger, perhaps 8-11" long, with a thin leather strip wrapped around the grip. From what I recall, it was a neat little knife. Not a Tru-Bal (or of that quality), but a decent cheap little thrower.
My stepfather caught me sticking it in the wallboards and support beams of the cellar, and confiscated it. I have asked him about it, but his mind is going now and can't remember what he did with it. I have searched, it is gone. I'm guessing he threw it away.
Anyhow, I would like to find another one, so I'm looking for the correct name and a rough idea of the value, so I can search E-bay, etc. for it.
Thank's in advance!!!!
