Ok I was thinking about doing something fun and trying to involve everyone, so here is my idea. (Mods if this is against the rules or a no-no without prior approval just shut it down and I will never speak of it again...well maybe in chat I will
)
My idea is for a beckerhead wide mod pass around. People sign up, the blade gets sent to everyone, and every does ONE mod to it. Only one, so for example if you grind a thumb ramp then leave the squaring of the spine for someone else. Also no one is to touch another's mod, so if someone patinas it, leave the patina on (except if grinding or sanding scratches it up so my advice would be let one of the last guys do the finish) UNLESS that person specifically says "I screwed this up can someone fix it" well then the guy who fixes it, that's your mod. Of course take tons of pics and describe what you did in detail. Also remember that there are people behind you, so don't do things that will hinder others work.. for example epoxying on scales before its stripped. When its all said and done the finished product will be given away, dunno how yet. Again this is all just a brainstorm now, I don't have approval yet so this isn't a sign up.
What do you guys think? Yay? Nay? Also which Becker blade would be best suited for something like this?
If you have any ideas to improve this or just wanna talk about it, I wanna hear it.
