OK, enough about marketing. I had never heard of a Kiridashi knife before. I would buy one of these if you could make an elegant version. Here's a website I found as an example: http://stone-wood.com/html/custom_kiridashi_knife_261.html Your version of this with a wooden handle.

I don't know which one I like best! The semi-wharncliffe looks fantastic, but the straight back looks like it has a ton of usable edge.

Blades are completely ground, not sure when I'll do handles. I'm thinking I might wait until after Christmas to finish these. I need to get out and do something to get in the Christmas spirit, I'm just not in a good mood right now.

If these prove to be a good seller, future ones should be able to be delivered with about a 4 week lead time, possibly less.

Maybe you need to make egg nog. I'll make at least 3 batches, one traditional, an eggless version for the squeamish who are concerned about salmonella, and one that is alcohol free.

That could always be done too. When they are completely finished I am going to do a poll to see which ones are more popular.
