Ideas for an affordable 3-stone set for freehand sharpening

I just went extra coarse DMT fine DMT and extra fine atoma. Hoping to get away from my edge pro and its limitations. I think that ran 195$ from two vendors. Russ

I had to look closely at this listing, too. Ebay haiku: "If it looks too good to be true..." (Okay, wrong number of syllables for haiku, but you get the idea). The 3 stone set shown is $176.22 plus shipping from Kyoto, plus possible customs delays...Cheaper and quicker and more certain CYA buying U.S. Not being a smart*ss, I had read it twice and e-mailed questions to the seller before I saw the drop-down menu of grits and their prices. Yeah, I slept in today, so I'm slow...:o
