Ideas for Custom Hawks...

Ok...since it's snowing and I have nothing better to do I'll share some ideas on customs with you...

#1: I was thinking of taking a NG Ranger head and having a matte finish done with some tiger stripes. Ploished spines and points. And using a handle made of Iron Wood. I love the asthetics od Iron Wood, plus is so damm strong. This could also be done using the hammer design ATC just did with the NG Ranger. I think it qoould look pretty sweet.

#2: This is like a Hammer but...Take an exisitng RR Spike and basically with the same camo pattern that I have coming in on the initial RR spike, I have an Iron Wood handle put on, polished spine and points and have a traditional hammer end put on. Like en extension of the hawk, not like the NG variant but out where the spike would be, like the old war tomahawks. Not sure if this one can be done, but I think it would look really "traditional" and cool.


Well, those are my ideas for now...i can't wait until I get my RR variant in a few weeks... Anyone else have an custom ideas of their own...?

I'd like a head similar to the Hayes hawk, with 4" sharpened edge and long beard. But I'd like the spike to be longer and thinner, like the RMJ Eagle Talon spike. On top of that, I'd like a 22" hickory haft. Something real long to reach out and touch someone. I'm not too concerned about throwing it.
