Ideas for new Knives

I am looking for ideas for new knife designs. Considering having some handmade knives made to sell from a local smith, or just going with some name brands. Post up your ideas if you have some.

We plan to make these available by Q3 2011. Would it be better to have them custom made locally, or would you guys be more interested in other knives from Cold Steel and Boker?
