ideas on taking thumb ramp off beckers

Ill be getting a becker knife soon and will be trying to get rid of the thumb ramp any ideas how i dont have the resources to get a dremel tool but my friend has a one of those dual spinning wheel grinders one on each side i dont know what kind of grinder its called though
 
If you haven't even gotten it yet, don't already decide to take the ramp off. I love the ramp on my BK9, some people don't, but it's something you should probably decide on after it's in-hand.
