Identification Help Needed

I Bought An Old Tool Box At An Auction. The Load Of Antiques Were From Maine. In It Was A Heavy Hatchet (or Small Axe) It Looks To Be Very Well Made But I Can't Make Out The Name. It Says "snow & Ne? Bangor". On The Bottom At The Rear Of The Hole For The Handle It Has "1 3/4 "any Info Would Be Appreciated. Thanks Bob
