Identify please ~ Knife pics ~ heavy

As a recovering knife snob who used to scoff at any fixed blade under $500, I can tell you some of the cheap 420J Chinese or Taiwanese jobs will occasionally make fun of thousand dollars customs in D-2 (chipping) or S30V (micro-rolling). And they will do so while being far easier to sharpen, with thinner and sharper edges that are straighter and better spine-centered, and also inherently more precisely ground and symmetrical (than a $2K Lile, to name but one). I agree $15 is getting way, way too low, but I would never assume anything anymore, in good or in bad (unless it says CPM, in which case I pass without further ado).

Thank you OP for this post. I'm just a few years late. I have a little bit of information on this knife. I have the exact same knife. It was not a flea market special. It was a Tractor Supply knife. I work with smart meter and I was on a project down in Port Charlotte FL when my normal throw away Milwaukee folding knife snapped. Funny enough I was in front of the tractor supply. I went in and looked around and found this knife brand new on clearance for 10 bucks. Original price I have no idea. I just saw as you said a 1/4" thick knife and decent case to hold my knife. That's cheaper than my normal Milwaukee tossers. So I grabbed it. Close to 3 years later I still haven't broken it. Not a razor sharp knife being the manufacturer edge is pretty broad but it does hold an edge very well. I never hesitate to take it and just stab it in the ground and cut roots or grass from around meter boxes, wipe it in my Jeans and then go to the next. If you still have it and want to sell it hmu. I'd love to have two of them. 10 bucks for 3 years ‍♂️ cant complain.
