Hello,

I'm trying to find a knife model that was available around 2006, and has some very unique identifiers - so should be easy to recognize for someone who has it or seen it. I'll give US$50 to the first who can find the name, specs and hi-res photos.

You can see a drawing here: https://postimg.org/image/ly9549inn/ , and the details are below.

Standard size fixed blade hunting knife
All black
Around 6 small oval cutouts
Serrated on both sides
An engraving of an eagle (or similar) on the handle or sheath
Available around 2006
Estimated price at the time: $30

These details are from memory, so there may be slight variations.

Thank you!

Perhaps an M-Tech Bushmaster?

No... Missing the eagle, the handle was straighter, and I believe it was serrated on both sides.
Any other ideas?

Yeah, I tried google for hours, and found this one as well. I think my only hope is someone identifying it because he owned it.

If it had an eagle on it then it was probably a frost cutlery knife, but the problem is that it definitely wouldn't have sold for 30$.
Try googling the frost cutlery fire warrior.

I've seen the knife before ( have watched a lot of cutlery corner ) and I'm positive it's a frost cutlery but I can't find a picture of it anywhere.

Not directly from Frost, but I've seen plenty of sketchy dealers at shows and strip mall shops sell their stuff for that price.

I too was searching high and low for a Frost model like that. I'm sure I've seen it too, but can't find a photo or model #.

That's right, forgot about high priced shops in the mall.
You're typical 100$ mall katana is about 35$ at the flea market as well as 5$+ folders costing 12$. My brother actually thought that his new folder was a better one because it costed him 20$ at the mall, but it fell apart just as fast and he was even less happy when he found the same knife for 8$ at the flea market.

Parker also used the eagle, holding a banner/ribbon.
Edit to add-
There were several Parker brands, Parker Imai, Parker Frost, Parker Brothers, etc

I saw this at a local hardware store. Kinda fits your description, but it's not a very good knife.
