That's a great idea Doc! I just went out into the shop. I have a Milwaukee recip saw with some worn down/saved blades. I found one that still has some pretty agressive teeth. I'm going to cut & grind it down like you did first thing tomorrow morning.
 
How about you smart designers coming up with a universal handle. Some of the places I frequent are short of proper handle material. The recipro blade idea is terrific. I could make a wood saw, bone saw, gut hook, fillet blade and skinning blade. Now all I need is a handle that will hold the blades firmly enough - sort of a blade trader without all the bulk. I'd be a bit nervous about keeping up with an allen wrench, but....
